Billing date change within the same month

Current billing date: 21st

Day the change is made 20th March

New billing date: 23rd

  1. The billing date must be changed to 23 March.
  2. The billing date can only be changed again after 20 June.
  3. The customer will receive a 10% discount entitlement on the 20th, when the prorated charges are applied.
  4. The customer will receive a 10% discount entitlement when the subscription payment is made.
  1. The subscriber will be billed for the prorated fee on 20 March for 21 to 22 March. Approx. 2 days x R3.33 = R6.66
  2. The subscriber will be billed again on 23 March for R99.

Billing date changed within the following month

Current billing date: 21st

New billing date: 15th

  1. The billing date must be changed to 15 April.
  2. The billing date can only be changed again after 20 June.
  3. The customer will receive a 10% discount entitlement on the 20th, when the prorated charges are applied.
  4. The customer will receive a 10% discount entitlement when the subscription payment is made.
  1. The subscriber will be billed on the day that the change is made. The prorated charges must be based on the period 21 March to 14 April. I.e., 25 days x R3.33 = R83.25
  2. The subscriber will be billed again on 15 April for R99.

Current billing date: 21st March

Day the change is made 22nd March

New billing date: 25th

  1. The billing date must be changed to 25th April.
  2. The billing date can only be changed again after 22 June.
  3. The customer will receive a 10% discount entitlement on the 22nd, when the prorated charges are applied.
  4. The customer will receive a 10% discount entitlement when the subscription payment is made.
  1. The subscriber will be billed the prorated charges on 22 March for the period 21 – 24 April. I.e., 4 x R3.33 = R13.32
  2. The subscriber will be billed again on 25 April for R99.
